East Dane Extra 25% off Sale Items

25EXTRA = 25% off Sale Items at EastDane.com

Remember CLADMen? Or Park & Bond? Right. Think those stores, only a little more affordable, with a much better return policy, and add in the might of the Amazon machine… and then you get EastDane.

The goods on EastDane aren’t cheap by any stretch, but they seem to be just off the radar of most style-conscious guys. That means their sale section can get nicely stacked. When an extra 25% off code hits, like this 25EXTRA deal, it’s worth browsing through their selection. Free 3 day shipping + free returns are standard, with free 2 day shipping if you’ve got Amazon Prime. Watch out for final sale items. There are a few hiding in the sale section. No returns on those.

Jack Spade Winged Duffel – $164.40 ($548)

Wait, half a grand is the retail price? Good lord. Jack Spade makes nice stuff, but the vast majority of it is made overseas, and while quality is good, I don’t know if anyone would ever confuse them with, say, a Saddleback. Anyway, mid $100s seems pretty fair, and at post time it doesn’t appear to be final sale. Leather accents, metal feet, and a nice textured look to the body. Just over 2000 cubic inches.

Billy Reid Indianola in Charcoal Buffalo or Camel Calfskin – $118.50 ($395)

That price is just silly. Made in Italy. Buffalo leather on the charcoal option. Slim shape. They don’t even appear to be final sale at post time. Limited sizes on the charcoal left, but there’s a good amount still there for the camel (color… not camel leather).

Gant Rugger Tricolor Polo – $50.75 ($145)

Interesting fabric blend on this one: 60% cotton / 30% Viscose / 10%… wool? Could be odd, could be great. Could be a little of both. Slim fit.

Centre Commercial Pantal Suede Boots – $105 ($350)

Check out the side profile… it’s a crepe sole, so these aren’t the sleekest things through the floor. More casual than anything, but a super nice price. Made in Brazil. Gonna look nice with jeans.

Billykirk Snap Card Case – $37.12 ($99)

Not your average card case. Top entry on this one, and might make for a mighty fine business card storage unit. Made in the USA.

Billykirk Card Case with Flap – $27.75 ($79)

Well and then there’s these. Snap free. Flaptastic. Black or Tan.

Billy Reid Loudon Jacket – $185.63 ($495)

Unlined body, made in Italy, and in a shade of blue that’s just different enough from standard navy. Still has a bit of a muted effect to the color. Button tab at the collar certainly makes it a more casual sportcoat than dressed up blazer (along with the fabric & construction).

Tretorn Nylite Linen Sneakers – $23.40 ($78)

Holding up just fine after a good amount of use this summer, but do know that these are super lightweight. There’s not a lot in terms of support through the uppers. Sure, they’re sneakers, but even canvas options feel a little more… “there”. Awesomely breathable though, and they come with both rawhide as well as regular cotton laces.

Jack Spade Repp Stripe Money Clip – $21.38 FINAL ($95)

Not a bad price for a prep-influenced metal money clip. “Internal tensioner” should help alleviate the slipping and sliding problems cheap metal money clips can develop.

Quoddy True Penny or Kiltie Crepe Loafer – $157.50 ($300)

No small price to pay for a casual loafer, but they’re built to last here in the USA. The brown pebbled penny loafers are as traditional as it gets, while the black kiltie & crepe sole option are unabashedly different. Scattered sizes on the brown penny, but all sizes available on the black kiltie.

Gant Rugger Stripe Roller Turtleneck Sweater – $49.50 ($165)

Would you wear it? All cotton, claims a slimmer cut, and apparently mid-weight instead of super chunky.

Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Low Country Boots – $157.50 ($525)

Beastly, in an almost Doc Marten kinda way. Pebbled leather uppers and goodyear welted. 10.5, 11, 11.5, and 12 are the sizes available at post time.

Seavees 08/61 Army Issue Sneakers – $48.30 ($92)

Originally created for those working through early A.M. PT sessions, and now they’re as classic as a sneaker gets. One warning: the toe box on these is not very tall. Like, sole to ceiling tall. So some might find them a little cramped.

Gant by Michael Bastian MB Herringbone Blazer – $271.88 ($725.00)

Not cheap, but made in Portugal, barely lined, and then there’s those squared off elbow patches. Herringbone pattern on the wool fabric. Lined in cotton. Updated-professorial style.

Quoddy Wabanaki Crepe Sole Boots – $120 ($320)

Hey… at least they ain’t purple this time. Made in the USA.

The extra 25% off East Dane sale items code 25EXTRA expires Wed. 7/23/14.
