Would you wear it? The Blue Suede Tassel Loafer

John W. Nordstrom Ethan Loafer – $86.90 ($175)

Might be time for a certain Affordable Men’s Style website editor to hand over his “minimalist/non-dandy” membership card.  Because, personally, these are oddly appealing.

Deep blue suede that doesn’t look too electric, the tassels aren’t enormous (know why you can tell it’s a mail plane?), the lines look pretty slim, and it’s made in Italy.  The 50% off price and free shipping/returns helps too.  Apron toes (that raised line that runs out over the upper) don’t appeal to everyone, but the top view shows that it at least rounds out a bit and that esker isn’t placed too close to the edge.

Good, out of the norm find?  Or temporary moment of insanity?
