Win it: Bespoke Post’s “Roast” Box

Bespoke Post September 2012: “Roast” – $45.00

For $45 per box, Bespoke Post will deliver to your door a “box of awesome” once a month.  Inside you’ll find hand selected items curated for a guy like you.  You can skip any box you want or cancel at any time.  Click here for more.

This is not for the guys who are plenty happy with a bucket of gas station coffee.  Nor is it for the guys who put down four cups of Folgers every morning (it’s basic, but you’re going to put a chocolate protein shake in it anyway right?  Instant mocha!).  This is for the guy who appreciates coffee the same way someone over at, say, Beer Advocate likes ales and lagers.  And unlike the BA guys, the fellow that this Bespoke Post box is targeting wants to enjoy that appreciated liquid at work.

How to make a perfect cup of coffee with your box from Bespoke Post.

Of course you can use it at home too, but the single cup serving method seems like it was made for that “I’m about to walk into our staff meeting and this is gonna be brutal” scenario.  But by all means, if you live with a Folgers kind of person (hi there!), keep this setup on the counter and make sure the sanka-sapien keeps their grubby mitts off your stuff.

The Burr Grinder is built incredibly well and it’s weirdly satisfying to spin the handle and feel it work.  The French-Press-like AeroPress coffee maker has earned great reviews from the coffee afficianado world, and the replacement filters (your box comes with them) are cheap.  The coffee beans that are included are grown in Nicaragua then hand-roasted in New York City.

The end result of one trip through the AeroPress is 4 oz of complex, espresso like coffee.  Like a good Scotch, it’s something you’d sip on and really enjoy.  Not slam like a boring & weak pour such as Maxwell House, or… Icehouse.

Win it:  To enter to win Bespoke Post’s Sepetmber Box of Awesome, send your first and last name in an email to contests@dappered.com w/ the subject: “Bespoke Roast”.  One entry per person.  Deadline: 11:59pm E.T. 9/30/12.

UPDATE:  Congrats to Henry H. who won the random drawing for this month’s Box of Awesome.  This one was hard not to break into and use.  Continued thanks to Bespoke Post for providing the boxes, and thanks to all who entered!
