Seven Suede Shoes on Sale

.
Suede shoes are sartorially succulent.  Seasonal shifts send suckers-for-shoes systematically searching for soft suede on sale.  Seven of such sought-after shoes shall be seen in succinct style starting summarily:
.

Ralph Lauren Made in the USA Banstead Boat Shoe – $111.75 ($325)
Boat shoe season is almost over, but still…

Use the code RLSUM25 for an extra 25% off at checkout to get this price.  Free shipping until August 28th as well, so that’s nice.  Three colors left including the not super bright “orange” shown.  It’s not cheap for a boat shoe, but they are made in the USA and were going for almost three times as much.  Similar version in brown, also made in the USA, for $150 over at DSW.

Calvin Klein Deauville Drivers – $61.99 ($98)
Like slippers you can wear out of the house.

Not an easier way to get introduced to the comfortable world of drivers shoes than a pair that ships free and costs sixty bucks.  Grey suede is hugely versatile, and the standard driving heel on these isn’t too aggressive.  Sold through Zappos and well reviewed.  Lots of other color options at other price points.  You’ll have to click to see the grey.

Cole Haan Air Colton – $114.00 ($228)
Worth a spin with your favorite khaki summer suit.

Over two hundred is a no, but half off and just north of $100 with free two day shipping and free returns is tempting.  Especially in the uber rich looking “Burnt Sugar” color.  Almost all sizes left.

Cole Haan Vincenti Cap Toe Boot – $199 ($398)
The Colton’s Italian Cousin.

Busier than the Colton, made in Italy, and equipped with Bologna Construction.  Leather sole.  A splurge for sure.

Magnanni Suede Double Monk – $299 (but $209.30 when an extra 30% off)
Made in Spain.

Sit settle hold.  Three hundred is a lot.  And LastCall runs 30% off sales often enough that this one is a wait on it type of shoe.  Just in, all sizes are there, and while it’s not likely since they just did a bunch of these, an extra 40% off one item sale would drop them to $179.40.  Mezlan has a similar, medallion toe version at DSW for a steep $280.

Ciro Lendini Suede Chukkas – $75.00 ($148)
Yoox’s version of DSW’s Mercanti or Mike Konos.

Big fan of the Yoox carried brand Ciro Lendini and their affordable Italian footwear.  Hold out for a sale and plenty of their shoes can be had for dirt cheap just like these.  Shipping can take a bit and be expensive, so know that going in.  No half sizes available and since Ciro Lendini shoes can run a little trim sometimes, best to size up if you want to take a shot.  More colors, like a dark blue, over here for $99.

Johnston & Murphy McPherson Cap Toe – $122.99 ($175)
Summer – Fall transitional shoe.

One of their newer releases (came out this past spring/summer) and made from Italian suede.  One of those shoes that’ll really dress up a pair of jeans, but not look wildly out of place.  Nice perforations and the shape of the shoe is perfect.

And now, the really NOT on sale pair: Alden for J. Crew Suede- $495.00
That’ll be half a thousand please.

Holy.

Supplementary suggestions shan’t sit subconsciously shrouded…
