Would you wear it? The go to hell plaid blazer

The Splurge?  Rugby Tartan Newbury Jacket – $269.99 ($398)

So it’s not quite Arian Foster’s tribute to Don Cherry (nice reference in the comments there Rook) but it’s far from conservative and subdued.

Was just on sale for $216, and it’s fair to assume that something this particular will probably stick around until the next big site wide extra 20% off sale.

100% wool and lined with cupro.  What’s cupro?  This over here says Cupro is: “The European cousin of tencel”  OH.  Tencel!  Right.  (Keep reading their description, it’ll make some sense.)  But back to the pattern…

Would you wear it?  And what level would it have to drop to before you even considered making a run at it?  Leave it all in the comments below.

Meanwhile, if you want something less wild and much less expensive, their three button cotton jacket is down to $130.  Still not dirt cheap, but much less of a risk.  Want a solid cheap version?  Try Old Navy.  It’ll need tailoring.

But will there be Cupro?
