The Gentleman Paradox

The Gentleman Paradox

As #menswear has taken off in the last 10-15 years, the resurrection of the words Gentleman and the plural Gentlemen took off and then some. It’s been a full blown vernacular renaissance for these terms. But here’s a question worth thinking about:

Would a true gentleman, ever refer to himself… as a gentleman?
.

Person A.: “I… am a gentleman”
Person B.: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯   “yeah sure.”

.
(Strangely enough, same thing goes for so-called “Alpha” Males.)
