The Under $100 Made in Italy Suede Oxford

Mike Konos Suede Oxford – $99.94 (compare at $250.00)

Mike Konos appears to be a DSW house brand.  Just like Mercanti Fiorentini.  And if that’s the case, feel free to ignore the “compare at $250” claim.  It’s not quite the same, but that’s got to be an exaggerated mark-up along the lines of Invicta saying most of their watches retail for $200 – $500 when in fact they never do.

But for just under $100 you still get an Italian made shoe with plenty of style.  A slender silhouette (all too rare for suede shoes), closed lacing, those perforation details, and a crepe sole.  Get one of the two darker colors and you won’t be limited to wearing them in warm weather.

For free shipping, use the code SHIPR at checkout after you sign up for their “Free membership” service (their email list).  Returns aren’t free and you’ll get dinged for $8.50 if it’s a pure return instead of an exchange.

Three colors available, with the brown option (Upper left) being the most versatile.
