The Express 1MX Addiction – Getting your fix for $28.44

Express 40% off + $15 off $60 Sale – Use Code 1274

“The Crack… is Whack.” – Whitney Houston.

The Express 1MX is back on double sale again.  They’ve marked their flagship shirts down by 40% off, and if you buy two you can knock another $15 off  w/ the code 1274.  It all adds up to getting these for half off retail.  And you’ll need two.  Because these shirts have the half life of an axe juggling meth addict.

The blue you want is called "Horizon"

It’s been noted before that the Express 1MX has some serious flaws.  Being that I just pulled that shirt up there ^ out of the dryer, and it’s no more than two years old, it seems like a good time to revisit those drawbacks:

  • The collar shreds (no kidding) over time
  • The cuffs and collar pucker thanks to the fusing which will eventually melt and cause noticeable wrinkles
  • The body requires major ironing after each wash
  • The neck is a little too tight for many to wear buttoned all the way up with a tie.

Here’s where the addiction comes in.  I… I just don’t care.  They’re still worth it to me when they’re marked down.  Because for the sale price of $28.44 (w/ two & code), you get a shirt that fits better (modern, fitted, extra slim), looks better, & does more than almost any other shirt on the market.

It can look like a dress shirt, but doesn’t feel like a dress shirt.  You can wear a tee under it untucked and it excels under sweaters.  Once they do start to exhibit their inevitable dark side they’ll make a hell of a weekend shirt.

The Express 1MX.  Not marriage material.  But the courtship and honeymoon are awful fun.  And unlike a deadbeat spouse, you can get a quick replacement for under $30 when the old ball and chain gets tired and worn.

At what price does the 1MX become a deal?  Full retail?  Under $30?  Leave your take in the comments…
.

Heads up.  The Express Signature Polo is also on sale, under $20 if you buy three with code 1274.  Exp. 4/25
