What’s the difference between these two umbrellas?

Ralph Lauren Tartan Umbrella – $229.00 (reg. $795) | Totes Gentleman’s Umbrella – $16.00

Try almost $800.  At least, when the Ralph Lauren Umbrella is at it’s regular price.

But for at least right now, the Tartan is on clearance.  So now it’s all the way down to…

$230.

Boy.  That’s something.

The Ralph Lauren is so expensive I’d be afraid to take it outside.  Especially if it’s raining.  And that of course, is precisely the environment it’s intended to be used in.  The option from Totes looks great in person, works fine, has just enough room under it for two people walking close, and can be had for even less when it goes on sale at Macy’s.
