Blackout watches have been getting a lot of attention lately. And most guys favor the silver stainless steel/black dial combination. But the black leather strap, silver faced, medium diameter chronograph can be the daily work horse for many a guy with at least a few watches in his possession.
The lighter dials lend contrast and a bit of class, while the chronograph pushers and sub-dials keep them from being boring. The black leather band will prevent you from wearing brown leather shoes with it, but again… it might be fun to have more than one watch to work with.
The Emporio Armani leans a little more casual because of the coin edge bezel, the Hugo Boss is more formal thanks to the Roman numerals, and the Burberry is pretty close to if not actually perfect.
But the Burberry better be for almost $500.
