Leave it to America’s resident rock-influenced designer John Varvatos to completely nail the moc toed work boot look that became so popular this year.
A lot of these boots get real clunky, real fast. These from Varvatos Star USA keep it relatively svelt, but still manage some beefy roundness through the toe. Make no mistake, there’s not an ounce point at the tips (see the view from above) but that over inflated bulbous look you see on other moc toe boots just isn’t here.
Points to Mr. V for keeping the soles dark, and the calfskin on both the black and brown versions dark as well.
