You’d think Nordstrom’s sale section of their website would be a decimated wasteland by now. Their Half Yearly Sale for Men was really the only post-holiday sale worth paying attention to. But now that particular sale is over, and anything that didn’t sell during that round of discounting has been marked down even further.
And there’s some surprising inventory that survived the initial onslaught. Check out the proof:
.
A lot of you guys have had your eye on this sportcoat. And it’s hard to believe it’ll go any lower. All sizes available (for now), Calibrate leans younger so the fit should be decently trim, and the lapels are modern. Great price.
.
This might be the first time something by Marc Jacbos showed up on this website. Surprisingly simple, almost Jack Spade looking, and actually affordable. Both versions available in black or brown.
.
Merino Wool sweaters will always be a little easier to layer because cotton knits have a little more beef. But merino wool hardly ever gets under $30. 1901 is a Nordstrom house brand, and like Calibrate it’s usually cut a little more close to the body. Don’t expect much cashmere in this V-neck, but the collar looks good and the raglan sleeves are a nice athletic touch. Lots of colors. Tons of sizes.
.
The right mix of sport and dress in a stainless steel watch. Usually a whopping $600 (ouch), but marked down to just under $300. Still expensive, but you’d pay more if you bought it on Amazon from Jomashop.
.
It says it’s “imported” but if it’s not made in Italy it’d be a surprise. Especially at that price, and when the brand’s shoes usually run around $400 – $600. Stamped and textured exterior. Available in brown or black.
.
Big name, clean colors, supposed athletic cut. If you’re the type that prefers more expensive dress shirts, an almost $100 dress shirt for under $50 is a good move. Also available in white.
