The Nontraditional $40 Jack Spade Cardcase & Wallet

The typical evolution of what a male holds his currency in is as follows:

  1. Sock (for lunch money)
  2. Nylon wallet with Velcro closure
  3. Leather Wallet
  4. Estate fund

Rarely do most men stray from that cradle to grave path.  Getting a simple card case for dressed up occasions should be a top priority.  But what about something more off the wall like this?

The card case on the left is less of a risk.  It’s the traditional shape and you wouldn’t use it as often as your standard wallet.  The “Vertical Card Holder” on the right looks like a typical wallet replacement.  At 4″ wide it’s the same width of a billfold, but with a nontraditional layout.  And then there’s the prince of wales pattern on the exterior instead of the usual brown or black leather.  It’ll grab some attention when you pull it out to pay your bill, but not all of us are looking to do that.

Also available in a traditional billfold, which will set you back a whopping $95 via Saks (below).
