What did you give?  Holiday 2010 Open Thread

The packages are all opened.  The tree has been left with only a foundation of torn paper ruins.  Now it’s time to brag a touch.  Not about what you received, but instead, about what you gave.

It’s in their early 20s that most people realize that the “Tis better to give than receive” cliche is absolutely true.  That’s the age when you start developing some sort of disposable income, and you know you can go out and buy yourself something if you want it bad enough.  No waiting around for Santa or Mom and Dad to hand it over on the morning of December 25th.  That’s also the period of your life when you start to figure out how much fun it is to shop for the people you care the most about.

Finding the perfect gift for one of your best friends, favorite member of the family, or your significant other is kinda like a game.  And when they really, really dig it?  You win.

So go ahead.  Brag a bit.  What gift did you give this year that ended up being a real home run?  Also think of this as a place to farm some ideas for next year.  Happy Holidays.  Hope you all are having a terrific season.

You guys know what to do, if you feel so inclined, tell us the best gift you gave in the comments section.  Also, if you’re still in need of some gift ideas, click below for the complete 12 Days of Dappered.
