The Just Right J. Crew Holborn Trench

J. Crew Holborn Trench – $198.00

J. Crew does Denim Dan

Another option for the guy who wants a trench-like coat with as little of the trench details as possible.  Shorter than the J. Crew Sutherland Trench, the Holborn is advertised as having a “slightly more tailored silhouette” and a belt that’s optional.  Single breasted, no epaulets, and 1/4 the cost of their made in Scotland Mac.

The only color that’s available is the dark khaki looking caramel.  Want something in Gray?  There’s always the Banana Republic Mac for $50 more.  But the darker Khaki (sorry, Caramel) looks pretty good, and it should be a nice contrast to your suits and denim.  Especially if you’re wearing denim on the top, and the bottom… just like the J. Crew model in the pic.

Can somebody tell him that the Canadian Tuxedo can only be pulled off by Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood, or Steve Nash?
