As always, it’s incredibly tough to peg when Macy’s will launch a One Day Sale. Sometimes a month and a half will go by between them, sometimes only a few weeks will pass. One thing is certain: These are sales worth paying attention to. The one-day sale prices are some of the best mark downs in the retail industry. Here’s five of the best from the One-Day-Sale which runs Friday August 20th – Saturday August 21st. Know that we’ve only picked items with a wide range of sizes.

If you’re in good shape, these are the top-dog when it comes to dressed up jeans. The Levi’s 514 Slim Straights fit closer than the 501 but aren’t skinny fit. The cut is as they say it is: Straight. It’s still too hot to even think about wearing these during the day, but fall is coming. $33 for a pair of these in this specific dark wash (Tumbled Rigid) is as good as it gets. Bulova knows how to make a mid-level affordable watch, but sometimes they go way over the top on details. Both of these newer models avoid the garishness some Bulovas fall victim to, and instead get it right with their simplicity. The Black Dial is advertised as a casual watch, but you should be able to wear it with a suit. The Silver-tone watch is formal in all the right ways. Both are just $150.
