Rugby Extra 25% off Sale

Stripe Cardigan – $52.49 (reg. $89.50) | Lightweight Corduroy Blazer – $97.49 (reg. $228)

Rugby is owned by Ralph Lauren so their pieces are pretty expensive.  But that of course changes if  they’re having a sale.  For a limited time (I have no idea what that means) you can get 25% off select on-sale items through Rugby.com, and they’ve got some decent stuff up for grabs.

You’ll want a sporty but not obnoxious cardigan come autumn, and the Pima Cotton version that Rugby offers up looks to hit all the right notes.  Pima cotton is softer, lighter, and a tighter knit than its bulky & squishy regular ol’ cotton cousin.  And the stripes on the cuffs are a nice touch. Plus an almost identical version is selling for $90 as we speak. (Or in this case type, and read)

The lightweight corduroy jacket is a three button with patch pockets. If you want the two button look, just fold the lapel over and iron the hell out of it. Nice and thin wale corduroy keeps it looking current and not 70’s.  Trim through the body and shorter in the drop means it could be a perfect laid back but still put-together piece.

Like I said, I have no idea when the extra 25% off deal is supposed to evaporate, but with that extra 25% off these prices start to at least sniff the affordable range.
