Somebody is going to have to explain to me why a Giltman sale like this is buried on a Sunday night.  Two designers who know how to make killer suits in modern but still classic styles, their suits already fall in an affordable price range, and the marked down Gilt sale is going to happen at 9pm EST on Sunday August 1st?

I don’t get it.

But I’ll be logged on to see what they have.  Here’s the preview blurb from Giltman:

Suits and shirts from two masters — or rather a master and a mistress — of American menswear. DKNY’s slim fitting suits come in wool, silk/wool blends and light cotton. All are single breasted and thoroughly modern. Kenneth Cole infuses his suits as well as his shirts with full throttled masculine style. Slightly broader and with a proper three piece suit, Kenneth Cole’s selections mixes downtown cool with Park Avenue power.

The sale will feature DKNY Suiting, Kenneth Cole Shirts, and Kenneth Cole Suiting.  It might be your last chance to pick up a marked down sharp summer suit (like the one up top there), or it could be a good opportunity to buy a new suit for the fall.  Should be interesting to see the selection, how the Kenneth Cole suits stack up against recent Overstock.com pricing, and if any of these will be final sale items.

Remember, you can only return Gilt stuff for a credit.  Not cash back.  And if it’s final sale?  You can’t return it at all.
