Banana Republic Extra 25% off Sale Items

BR Extra 25% off Sale Items: Use Code BRSALE25

Code good through Tuesday 7/20

Finding ties for under $30, shoes for under $50, and polos for under $20 is a rare occurrence at Banana Republic.  By the time prices get that low the items are usually tossed in the clearance section, and everything but XS and XXL has been taken away.  For a limited time you can double up discounts, take an extra 25% off Banana Republic regular sale items, and all of a sudden those low prices become reality.

Use the code BRSALE25 at checkout.  The code is good through Tuesday July 20th.  Picks have been limited to items with a wide variety of sizes, or where sizes need not apply (like the ties you see right down there…)
.

B.R. Silk Pindot-stripe Tie | Linen/Silk Solid Tie$29.99 (reg. $49.50)

Neither tie is boring, but... in a good way.

Keeping your ties simple is a must, and the silk pindot-stripe is about as busy as you want to get.  But the styling of the extra detail is perfect.  Juts two widths of accent stripes on a deep blue background.  Wear it with a solid suit and it’ll look terrific.  The Silk/Linen blend tie leans heavily towards warm weather, but… you could wear it in the fall to add extra color to your business wardrobe.
.

Gibson Perforated Driving Loafer – Cement: $44.99 | Tan: $52.49 (reg. $98.00)

When they're half off, the perforations grow on you.

Adding perforations to a driving loafer seemed like somewhat of a risk a few months ago… but now when they’re on sale, in almost all sizes, for 45 bucks?  That’s not so much of a risk anymore.  Go with the gray “cement” color and you could wear those with chinos and dark jeans for the next couple of months.
.

Pima Cotton Double Stripe Polo – $18.74 (reg. $44.50)

Pima, not pique, with a great pair of stripes.

The Pima Cotton (as opposed to Pique) makes it smooth and light.  The reviews saying they run a little small are encouraging for a trimmer fit.  Double Block stripes make it interesting but not obnoxious.
.

Relaxed Cotton Linen Striped Pant – $44.99 (reg. $69.50)

Don't expect a trim fit. But do expect to stay cool in them.

Notice the fit says “relaxed.”  Some of the reviews mention that the legs are pretty wide, but it’s summer, these are linen, and the extra breeziness could help you stay extra cool.  If not?  There’s always your tailor.
.

Double Prong Belt in Deep Army Green – $29.99 (reg. $49.50)

One Extra Prong and a non-brown/black color make this a nice addition.

You probably have a black, brown, and some sort of fabric belt in your casual belt arsenal.  This isn’t any of those.  Double prongs on a deep dark army green belt makes this thing unique.  Not a bad looking year round jeans belt if you ask me.

Don’t forget.  The extra 25% off only applies to items that are already on sale.  Use the code BRSALE25 at checkout.  Code is only good through Tuesday the 20th.
