The guts are made by Seiko, and the exterior is more refined sport than stuck up country club.  Bobby Jones was one of the best golfers the world has ever seen, and somewhere along the line he was turned into a brand of golf shirts.  Those golf shirts exploded into other apparel, and watches followed thereafter.

But it now looks like the watches are no longer for sale on the Bobby Jones apparel website, and they’re heavily marked down on Amazon.  Now would be the time to grab one before they’re potentially gone for good.

Whoever designed the Bobby Jones watch line knew how to drop in slick details that don’t overpower.  The tonal blue argyle on the face of the Swiss Special Edition is pretty sweet, and the stripes on their casual fabric watches are bright but not crazy.  Their chunky sport models have razor sharp strap trenches that make them look like a dive watch, but the face is a very formal palette of white and gray.

Hardly any of the watches get north of $200, and some start as low as $50.  They’re a perfect blend of affordability, dressed up style, and sport.
