ASOS Leather Brogue Boots – $85.47

These things are busy.  Really busy.

Wingtip styling but in a Chelsea ankle boot height, burnishing on the toe and the heal, and not brown but tan leather fading into a dark chocolate.  A pair of boots like this requires a level of… panache… that a lot of us don’t have.

They’re low and sleek, and the eyelets are thin but reinforced like a combat boot.

Make no mistake, these are a pair of shoes that’ll get noticed.  And if you like that kind of thing, as well as enjoy having a bit of extra leather underneath your chino cuffs, then go for it.  $85.00 ain’t that much of an investment.
