Now that we’ve passed the winter solstice, the days are thankfully getting longer. But that doesn’t mean most of us won’t be slogging through a dark, dank, cold world for the next couple of months.

Winter clothes for guys are almost universally muted. And that’s good. Because you don’t want to be the one guy on the planet with a bright red pea-coat. That’d be… strange.

Blacks, grays, and dark blues dominate this time of year.  But where you can and should break the sartorial monotony is with smaller pieces. Like this scarf. Bright blue, double sided, stripes on one side, and it should provide a perfect jolt of color to your otherwise wintry looking wardrobe.
