Personalized Tabasco Sauce 1 Gallon Jug

Personalized Tabasco Sauce 1 Gallon Jug – $44.95

Hat tip to the guys at Gear Patrol for spotting this one.

Know a guy that likes his food spicy?  Then you’re sure to find a couple different bottles of Tabasco in his fridge.  Tabasco really does add a lot to any meal.  Soup, burgers, and of course… Mexican.  A couple of dashes of Tabasco seems to bring out the best flavors in anything.

For $44.95, not only do you get a gallon growler jug of Tabasco Sauce, the Tabasco Country Store, will personalize it with your name.  In specially printed script, your jug o’ Tabasco will say it’s your “private stock” to any potential liquid-spice squatters who might want a dash of the deliciousness.

I’m guessing you’re asking:  “Is this a deal compared to just buying that much worth of Tabasco in the regular 5 oz bottles?”  The answer is a resounding yes.  Usually, a 5 oz. bottle of Tabasco will run you about $4.00.  A gallon is 128 oz., thus, one Gallon worth of Tabasco by way of  an equal amount of 5 oz. bottles would run you about $102.40.

The only drawback?  Storage.  Having a gallon of Tabasco Sauce in your refrigerator is going to take up a lot of real estate.  So unless you or the person you’re giving it to is a bachelor, check to make sure that the significant other is okay with losing that much of a shelf for at least a few months.  Because one gallon is equal to 25.6 bottle of Tabasco.  And that’s a lot.
