Everyone has a favorite T-shirt. Mine is a 50/50 cotton-poly-blend Watertown Athletic Department T-shirt I found in a thrift store. I love it. But that’s a rare find. How many people can say they’ve got an entire brand of favorite t-shirts? A go-to that they KNOW will fit great, feel great, and last a long time. Not many. Probably because they haven’t thought to think of buying that $10 t-shirt at target.
There’s a couple of brands at Target (Merona, Cherokee, etc…) but if you find yourself staring at a plain or striped Mossimo t-shirt that says “Athletic Fit” on it… give it a try. I’ve got three. Black, Dark Red, and Tan. And I love em’.
They layer great, the collar never stretches out, and they don’t billow out at the sides. The tail isn’t too long, the sleeves don’t droop down, and the fabric isn’t so thick you sweat in the sun.
The shirt itself seems to stretch a bit, they stand up well to random food/beer/grease stains and they look terrific with a pair of jeans and classic sneakers.
That and they’re dirt cheap.
Yeah, I like these t-shirts quite a bit.
