Glen Plaid 4 Pocket Coat

Target/Merona Glenn Plaid 4 Pocket Coat – $59.99

Sometimes a Pea Coat or Top Coat can be a little too formal looking.  But we’re also now entering that time of year when you’ll still want the extra warmth that your nice wool coat offers.  If you’re still looking for something that can stand up to winter, but takes the dressiness down a notch, take a good long look at this ridiculously cheap 4-pocket coat from Target.

Target’s Merona brand has a strangely large selection of Outwear.  Pea Coats… stadium jackets… hell, they even have a toggle coat.

A TOGGLE COAT.  Unreal.  Anyway…

The weight of the 4 pocket coat’s fabric is decent, the fit isn’t bad either, and the price is just plain as low as it gets.

The Glen Plaid gives it character and the high collar will keep the back of your neck warm.  It’s cut trim and it has plenty of pockets for plenty of, well, anything.

If by some chance the Glen Plaid is a little too Grandpa-ish for you, they also make one in plain old black.

This coat is perfect for going to a football game, taking an early evening walk, or heading to your favorite bar for a guy’s night out.  And with as inexpensive as it is, you’ll be able to afford to buy your guys the first round.
