Cheap Liquor

The World’s Best Cheap Booze

David Wondrich of Esquire not only tells you what they are, but why it’s cheap, and what each liquor is best used for.  Wondrich provides examples of $15 per bottle Rum, Scotch Whiskey, Gin, and even Brandy.

Gordon’s is his pick for cheap Gin, and if you’re wondering: why is it so cheap?  He explains plainly:  There’s less alcohol in it.

And I can vouch for that.  Had a few Gordon’s on the rocks a few weekends back and I really didn’t feel much of anything.  It was good, but no buzz.  (Which frankly, was also good).
