The Gentleman Paradox

Let’s make this short, simple, and to the point.  The use of the words Gentleman and the plural Gentlemen have exploded.  It’s a full blown vernacular renaissance for these terms.  But here’s a question worth thinking about:

Would a true gentleman, ever refer to himself… as a gentleman?
