Armani Tank Watches – Chronograph – $187.95
| Classic $136.50
An Armani Suit might cost you a few months salary, but their watch collection is surprisingly reasonable (and more on that later). When it comes to their formal watches, like these two, you get all the style of the Armani Line with very little of that exorbitant cost.

Cartier Tank: $8,375
These two models are tank watches. Originally named for the Cartier Tank Watch Line, tank watches resemble the rectangular shaped tanks seen by French Watchmaker Louis Cartier while near the front lines of WWI. The tanks served as inspiration, and the first prototype was given to the head of the American Forces in Europe, General John J. Pershing.
Any type of Tank watch, no matter how expensive or cheap, is made only for formal situations. This is a “you best be wearing a jacket” type of watch. No jeans, and if you’re without a jacket you need at least a tie.
The details on the chronograph draw from the early 20th century (notice the shape of the hands) but it’s still pretty darn slick. The classic watch
is more of a modern take with the shined up case and band.
Are these two watches cheap? Absolutely not. But at less than $200 they’re more affordable than other Armani garb because they’re actually manufactured by the Fossil Watch company. Armani farms out the manufacturing to them, meaning the Armani Urban Style is there, but not the price.
