The Conundrum Motorcycle Jacket

Charles & 1/2 Colorblock Moto Zip Up – $128.00

Here’s the problem with this jacket. Sure it looks great (nice stripes), sure it’s reasonably priced for a like-leather jacket, but you can’t get out of a Toyota Camry wearing it. Heck, you can’t get out of a CAR wearing it. You best be on a motorcycle.

Right?

And since it’s not actual leather, but instead Polyurethane, if you actually wore it as a motorcycle jacket wouldn’t it shred to pieces if God forbid you ever hit the pavement?

Too bad though. Like I said, nice stripes.

Really? Felt this jacket in the store and the exterior felt sort of flimsy. Like If I really wanted to, I could maybe tear it right there. Not super bad, but it just didn’t feel “tough” y’know?

This actually *is* my motorcycle jacket. For the freeway, I’ve got heavier, armored things (a lot of insane people drive SUVs, it turns out), but for tooling around town this is a pretty good jacket and has held up much better than I thought it might.
